Job Description

• Manage Infosistema's Java Team: coordination, recruiting and junior resources coaching.
• Development and maintenance of Java applications
• Last Java technologies evangelization and internal Java framework management.

Implement an expansion plan for Infosistema's Java team, and assume responsabilities on the techical and human quality of the development team. Also assure the quality of all the developed applications and artifacts. The mission is to expand and consolidate the technical team through recruitment, training and constant evangelization of Java technologies and related framework. We are looking for a manager that is a leader both in techical as in human aspects.

The Java Manager will also have design and implementation tasks that need to be arranged with the managing tasks. The Java Manager report directly to the administration board.

Java Team Management

• Coordination of Java projects. Assume responsabilities on allocation and control of resources on the several projects. Project technical execution control. Maximization of project margins trough the best resources usage and real-time financial information.
• Manage the team members careers, including performance evaluations, satisfaction and expectations.
• Activelly work with Human Resources to atract and retain talent individuals and build an outstanding team. Identify new ways to atract junior and senior resources and with excelent potential. Assure the high technical quality of the team.
• Train and educate other resources so they continually improve their capabilities.

Application development

• Develop client applications.
• Activelly work with Human Resources to atract and retain talent individuals and build an outstanding team. Identify new ways to atract junior and senior resources and with excelent potential. Assure the high technical quality of the team.
• Design and validate technical architectures that are able to support multi-users load. Very good data base knowledeges to build scalable and performant applications.
• Design advanced algorithms and applications in an efficient way.
• Work in time-box methodologies with high decision on feature priorities.
• Improve the utilization of code inside Infosistema by building reusable code.

Technological evangelization

• Guarantee the usage of the newest Java technologies and trends through all Infosistema projects.
• Mobilize all Infosistema resources to use the same technologies at the same time.
• Evangelize the customers to let them know the benefits on the usage of the newest technologies so that they are always using up to date java technology.
