Infosistema Bloomberg Connector

This product requires Infosistema Financial Flow as it is one of its modules. It consists on a service that wraps the Bloomberg API and runs on any Bloomberg Terminal. The service will then work as a feeder itself, waiting for requests to be placed over a TCP channel, then invoking the relevant methods on the Bloomberg API and finally raising responses to the registered ticker plants.

The Ticker Plant is another Financial Flow module and works as a middle layer between the rich applications that need real-time market data and the Bloomberg Terminal. Its this layer that is responsible for managing high level requests, cache similar requests, redirect them as needed to the Bloomberg Feeder Service and finally desmultiplexing the Bloomberg answers to the requesters.
